Tile painting at JVHS

As we enter the end of the fall season and the end of the year is approaching I want to take the time to reflect upon what I'm grateful for. Although I'm thankful for much this year, one of the things I'm most thankful for is my friends. My friends have been a major support system for me in numerous ways. They are always there for me if I need someone to talk to or need some advice without judging me. They're caring and mostly kind and help make my day better no matter my mood. They encourage me everyday to grow and become a better person each and everyday. I want to thank them for all the laughs and tears I've shared with them.

Sophia holding a windmill while looking up

On the right is one of my most recent photos.

It captures my classmate, Sophia Valdez looking up with a windmill in her hand while im above her for a viewpoint shot.

I picked this one as my favorite because her looking up with the sun and shadows on her face can be a metaphor for looking up through the dark times in life to find light and hope.

Sophia looking back at flowing flowers

On the left is again one of my more recent photos which feature, Sophia Valdez , my classmate.

This photo is uses the method of repetition with the flowers in the background. It shows her looking off into the flowers while the blow in the wind behind her.

I picked this as one of my favorites as the I love nature in my photos as it adds a lot in my opinion. Along with this her looking into the background can be a metaphor of he looking in the past and the flowers blowing can be a metaphor for time passing away. I think a lot of story can be brought from this photo with many different interpretations based on each persons thoughts making it one of my favorites.
